Your role will involve managing various aspects of Citrix infrastructure, including scripting, upgrades, and troubleshooting. Additionally, you will need a solid understanding of Azure Administration, image management tools, and endpoint management. This position requires you to make architectural and operational recommendations to enhance Citrix environments and support a range of applications, hardware, and network infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Citrix System Management: Oversee all aspects of Citrix design, performance monitoring, tuning, scripting, upgrades, and maintenance of production Citrix systems. Certifications and Knowledge: Utilize certifications like CCA/CCP and knowledge of Azure Administration (AZ-104/AZ-305) to enhance Citrix system management. Image Management: Manage image deployment and updates using tools such as Citrix ELM and profile management tools like Fslogix, Citrix WEM, and Ivanti. Endpoint and Group Policy Management: Apply basic knowledge of Microsoft endpoint management and Group Policy to support Citrix environments. Application and Infrastructure Support: Support applications, hardware, operating systems, and network infrastructure. Architectural Recommendations: Make architectural and operational recommendations for applying updates and improvements to Citrix environments. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrading tasks for Citrix servers and applications. Administer Citrix PVS for server maintenance, upgrades, and image management. Monitoring Tools: Configure, deploy, and maintain monitoring tools such as ControlUp, ensuring proactive monitoring and issue resolution. Collaboration: Collaborate with other technical specialists by applying concepts, tools, and methodologies to carry out assigned duties effectively. Operating Systems and Vulnerability Management: Maintain deep technical knowledge of MS Operating Systems and manage application vulnerabilities. Essential Skills: Citrix Expertise: Comprehensive experience in Citrix design, performance monitoring, tuning, scripting, and maintenance. Certifications: Preferably hold certifications such as CCA (Citrix Certified Associate) or CCP (Citrix Certified Professional). Knowledge of Azure Administration, with certifications like AZ-104 (Azure Administrator) or AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect) is preferred. Image Management Tools: Proficiency with image management tools such as Citrix ELM and profile management solutions like Fslogix, Citrix WEM, and Ivanti. Endpoint Management: Basic knowledge of Microsoft endpoint management and Group Policy. System Support: Ability to support applications, hardware, operating systems, and network infrastructure. Operational Recommendations: Experience in making architectural and operational recommendations for Citrix environments.
