System Configuration: Providing requirements to the LIMS vendor for customizing the LIMS software to match the laboratory's specific requirements, including data structures, workflows, and reporting. Data Migration: Assist in evaluating strategies for transferring existing laboratory data into the new LIMS system accurately and efficiently. User Training: Developing and delivering training programs to laboratory staff on how to effectively use the LIMS system. System Validation: Ensuring the LIMS system meets regulatory compliance standards and performs as expected. Go-Live Support: Providing on-site or remote support during the initial implementation and system launch. Post-Implementation Support: Offering ongoing support, troubleshooting, and system enhancements. Additional Responsibilities: Project Management: Overseeing the LIMS implementation project, including timelines, budget, and resource allocation. Change Management: Managing the transition to the new LIMS system, addressing concerns, and fostering user adoption. Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to optimize laboratory workflows and improve efficiency through LIMS utilization. System Integration: Integrating the LIMS with other laboratory systems, such as instruments and data management platforms. Data Analysis and Reporting: Generating reports and analyzing data to identify trends and improve laboratory performance. Required Skills and Knowledge: Strong understanding of laboratory operations and workflows. Expertise in LIMS software and configuration. Project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-solving and analytical abilities. Technical proficiency in database management and software applications. Education and Experience: Should have 3 to 5 years of practical experience with Lab Information Systems, Middleware solutions, Laboratory Automation, HL7/ASTM Standards, Clinical Data Management, Clinical Systems Integration.
