The candidate will play a critical role in developing and managing data solutions, with a strong focus on reporting, ETL pipeline development, and cloud-based data engineering. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Azure, Databricks, and PowerBI, coupled with excellent communication and collaboration skills. This role requires a deep understanding of data engineering tools and the ability to work closely with stakeholders to provide data-driven insights. Key Responsibilities: Data Engineering: Develop and manage ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and other Azure data engineering tools. Reporting: Create and maintain reports using PowerBI/Fabric, providing insights and analytics to stakeholders. Cloud Engineering: Implement and manage cloud data solutions using Azure, ensuring efficient data processing and storage. Databricks: Utilize Databricks for big data processing and analysis, integrating it with other Azure services. API Integration: Work with REST APIs and PySpark to ensure smooth data flow and integration across systems. Scripting: Develop scripts in Shell, Python, and R for data manipulation, automation, and processing. Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders and Product Managers to understand business needs, translate them into technical solutions, and provide actionable insights. Mandatory Skills & Qualifications: Reporting Tools: Strong proficiency in PowerBI/Fabric. Cloud Data Engineering: Extensive experience with MS Azure, including ETL pipeline development using Azure Data Factory (ADF). Databricks: Expertise in using Databricks for data engineering tasks. APIs: Exposure to REST APIs and PySpark. Scripting Languages: Proficiency in Shell scripting, Python, and R. SQL: Advanced SQL skills for complex data extraction and analysis.
