Senior Architect and practitioner level please We are seeking an experienced Splunk ITSI Engineer to join our dynamic IT operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and management of Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) solutions, ensuring that IT operations are effectively monitored and managed. This role requires a strong background in Splunk, IT operations, and IT service management. Must Have:- Experience with MLTK Key Responsibilities: Splunk ITSI Implementation: Deploy, configure, and manage Splunk ITSI solutions to monitor and analyze IT services and infrastructure. Develop and implement ITSI dashboards, services, and KPIs to provide actionable insights into system performance and availability. Monitoring and Incident Management: Create and maintain advanced event correlation rules and alerts to identify and resolve issues proactively. Integrate ITSI with other IT service management (ITSM) tools and processes to enhance incident management and response times. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze and interpret data from various sources to create comprehensive reports and visualizations for stakeholders. Develop and optimize Splunk queries and searches to extract valuable insights and improve operational efficiency. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with IT operations, development, and support teams to understand monitoring requirements and provide technical guidance. Provide training and support to team members on Splunk ITSI best practices and usage. Optimization and Maintenance: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of Splunk ITSI deployments to ensure optimal operation and scalability. Stay up-to-date with Splunk updates and industry trends to recommend and implement improvements. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Proven experience with Splunk ITSI, including deployment, configuration, and management. Strong knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) principles and practices. Proficiency in Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL) and experience with creating complex queries and dashboards. Experience with integrating Splunk with other ITSM tools and systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications related to Splunk (e.g., Splunk Certified Architect, Splunk Certified Power User) or ITSM tools. Experience with other monitoring and analytics tools. Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and data processing.
