Project Description:

The Vehicle Maintenance Information System is a

basis with over 800 users. VMIS provides information to various staff
department, i.e. Maintenance Support, Finance, Risk Management, Safety and
Materials Management departments; VMIS data is downloaded to various
departments for analytical purposes, i.e. Bus Operations, System Development
and analysis department for report generation.

The system is driven by series of system tables, which

multiple feeders to system, which includes the following:

done, work completed and employee work assignments.

FleetWatch - Fluids

Defect Tracking : Each garage has a electronic Scantron Scanners
located at the depot office/Maintenance office which allows for bus driver
bus condition form to be scanned and directly inputted to the VMIS system
and allows for generation of work orders to repair driver identified
mechanical defects.

Campaign module: The Campaign module allows for generation of fleet
wide vehicle preparation work, which immediately generates work order
activities at each garage location.

Quality Assurance:  The quality assurance department actively
investigates repair work performed at garage locations and the VMIS system
provides for data capture of Q.A. Quality Assurance findings/defects and
generates work orders activities for affected garages to take corrective
action.

Bus Inspection: The Bus Inspection module is utilized by
mechanics to record electronically findings during Major Minor and DOT
inspections.

Component Tracking: The Component Tracking module identifies key
components replacement by date and mileage installed. It has also a
