As a member of this practice, you will communicate and consult with our client's business and technical personnel, blending with their IT team and working together to help identify potential problems and develop solutions. The candidate should be highly experienced in Oracle RDBMS administration and database systems architecture. Candidate should have experience with Oracle Engineered Systems (Exadata, ODA, ZFS), Oracle Linux Virtualization, and at least one Cloud provider (OCI/AWS/Azure). This position will focus on database environment expertise in both development and production support roles. RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful person for this role will be highly experienced in Oracle RDBMS administration. They will have experience with High-Availability design and builds using technologies like Oracle RAC and GoldenGate. Oracle Exadata management and patching. Oracle ODA management and patching. Database, system, and application performance tuning. Replication and Cloning Design and Solutions. Database upgrades and migrations. Backup design and disaster recovery plans and execution. OLVM Architecture, Design, and Implementation. OCI Architecture, Design, and Implementation Oracle RDBMS DBA has the following skill sets: A minimum of 8+ years of experience with the following is required: 8+ years in database administration using Oracle RDBMS with 2 years of Oracle Exadata experience; A team player with excellent communication skills. Ability to multi-task while maintaining high-quality deliverables. Previous experience supporting complex projects with complicated business drivers. Good writing and communication skills. A plus would be experienced in SQL Server or Open-Source database administration. A plus would be experience managing environments in the OCI/AWS/Azure clouds.
