| ONLY LOCAL Job Title: Systems Engineer Location: Onsite Utah (UT , Midvale) Job Description : Analyzes and designs technical solutions to address business needs. Troubleshoots systems to increase quality of systems. Identifies, investigates and proposes solutions to technical problems. Develops, tests, and modifies software to improve efficiency of internal operating systems. Provides technical support for issues surrounding software/hardware failures and the like. Monitors server performance to maintain consistent up time. Provides technical expertise where required within Information Technology Projects. Prepares and maintains necessary documentation. Highest level may function as a lead. Other duties as assigned. Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project. Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity. Technical Skills: Mainframe Systems Programmer to maintain vendor software and work cooperatively to keep the overall mainframe environment healthy. Monitor, build alerting and automation, integrate with interrelated systems, and craft creative solutions to problems and obstacles. Troubleshooting, vendor engagement, planning, and escalation will be needed to uncover issues, discover root causes, and implement resolutions. Products and services cover vendors such as Broadcom, BMC, Rocket Software, and others.
