Please find the job description below, and if you are interested, please forward your updated resume to #pradeep @ interaslabs.com Role: Business Analyst specifically in data analytics Duration: 6 months remote Requirements: Bachelors degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Healthcare Analytics, or a related field Minimum 10+ years of experience working in business analysis with at least 3 years specifically in data analytics Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data modeling, statistical analysis, and data visualization Expert-Level Excel skillset Required Proficiency in data analytics tools and technologies such as SQL, Power BI, Python, JSON or other relevant software In-depth understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions Experience managing or supporting data analytics projects, including project planning, resource management, and risk mitigation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. High level of accuracy and attention to detail, particularly in data analysis and documentation. Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and data science teams. Commitment to staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and business intelligence. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to process large amounts of information and interpret data Strong verbal and written communication skills Job Duties: 1. Data Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to understand and document specific data needs and business objectives, ensuring the alignment of data analytics projects with organizational goals. 2. Data Process Improvement: Analyze and optimize data collection, storage, and processing workflows to improve data quality, accessibility, and efficiency. 3. Data Solution Design: Develop data-driven solutions and models that address business challenges, utilizing advanced analytics techniques, machine learning, and statistical analysis. 4. Data Analysis and Interpretation: Conduct in-depth data analysis to extract actionable insights, identify trends, and inform strategic decision-making.Present findings in clear, concise reports and dashboards. 5. Data Project Management: Lead or support data-centric projects, managing timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery of analytics solutions. 6. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a bridge between business units, and IT teams, ensuring that data requirements and analytics outcomes are clearly communicated and understood. 7. Data Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data sources, methodologies, analysis processes, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility. 8. Data Quality and Integrity: Establish and enforce data quality standards, perform data validation, and implement data governance practices to maintain high levels of data integrity. 9. Mentorship and Leadership in Analytics: Mentor junior analysts and data professionals, helping them develop their analytical skills and understanding of data best practices. 10. Data-Driven Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous testing and validation of data models and analytics solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and deliver accurate results. 11. Continuous Learning in Data Analytics: Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and methodologies in data analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence to continually enhance the organization's data capabilities.
