| Job Description: BI Publisher with OBIEE and PL/SQL Experience Position: BI Publisher Location: Remote Duration: 6 months + Contract Pay Rate: $50/hr on c2c Client: LA Care Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled BI Publisher with extensive experience in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) and PL/SQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex reports and data visualizations that drive business decisions. You will work closely with various departments to understand their reporting needs and deliver solutions that align with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Report Design and Development: Create and manage reports using Oracle BI Publisher, ensuring they are accurate, efficient, and meet business requirements. OBIEE Integration: Develop and maintain OBIEE dashboards and reports, integrating them with BI Publisher for enhanced data presentation and analysis. PL/SQL Development: Write, debug, and optimize complex PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support reporting needs. Data Analysis: Perform detailed data analysis and ensure the accuracy of report outputs by validating the underlying data sources. Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements, translating them into technical specifications. Performance Tuning: Optimize report performance by tuning SQL queries, managing database indexes, and ensuring efficient data retrieval. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all reports, queries, and procedures developed, ensuring knowledge transfer and support continuity. Support and Troubleshooting: Provide support for existing reports, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements based on feedback. Compliance and Security: Ensure all reports comply with company data security policies and relevant industry standards. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in BI Publisher and OBIEE. Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance. Technical Skills: Expertise in Oracle BI Publisher and OBIEE report development. In-depth knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL programming. Experience with database design, data modeling, and ETL processes. Familiarity with Oracle Database, including performance tuning and query optimization. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, accurate reports. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware or related technologies.
