| Job Title Fortinet Engineer Location New York, NY (Onsite) Duration: 6-12 Month Contract to Hire Visa Status: Must be GC or USC Interview Process: MS Teams Our dynamic tech-driven company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Onsite Fortinet Engineer with relevant Fortinet certifications to join our growing team. This role is critical to our firm's mission of providing top-tier network security solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Fortinet's suite of security products and a proven track record of ensuring network security. Responsibilities: Installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of Fortinet firewalls and related security infrastructure Staying up-to-date with the latest cyber security threats and countermeasures Detailed technical reporting on both the system's status and any security incidents Conduct regular vulnerability audits, risk assessments and penetration testing Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the secure and efficient operation of all systems Provide training and technical guidance to other team members Deliver an excellent level of customer service, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and courtesy Qualifications: Valid Fortinet certifications (NSE 4 8 preferred) A minimum of three years' experience in similar roles In-depth knowledge of Fortinet's suite of security products Proven ability to configure and manage VPNs, firewalls, and more Solid understanding of Network Protocols (TCP/IP, Routing Protocols) Hands-on experience in networking and routing Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, collaborative environment Being a successful Fortinet Engineer with us means being at the forefront of advancing our mission of providing leading network security solutions.
