Role: Data Modeler with Strong Database experience (CosmoDB) Location : Issaquah WA (Onsite) Local to PST Zone Contract Job Description: The ideal candidate should have the ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and know-how to collaborate effectively with domain experts and the IT leadership team. Responsibilities: Analyzing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models. Evaluating existing data systems. Working with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows. Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system. Reviewing modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility. Implementing data strategies and developing physical data models. Updating and optimizing local and metadata models. Evaluating implemented data systems for variances, discrepancies, and efficiency. Troubleshooting and optimizing data systems. Communicates technical concepts to non-technical audiences both written and verbal. Regular and reliable workplace attendance at your assigned location. Requirements: Must-Have 4+ years experience with Data Modeling 4+ years of hands-on experience with physical and relational data modeling. Expert knowledge of metadata management and related tools. Knowledge of mathematical foundations and statistical analysis. 3+ years experience working with Cloud technologies Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Cosmos DB etc. 3+ years hands on experience with Git / Azure DevOps Able to work in a fast-paced agile development environment. Must have proven ability to follow priorities and timelines. Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
