| Title: Jr. QA Technician Location: Boca Raton, FL Must be located in South East Florida (Boca Raton area) and able to be in office full time during the work week to perform duties Visa: USC, GC, GC-EAD Only Rate: $30/hr. on W2 and $35/hr. on 1099/C2C Notes: Locals Only! Must show proof of Residence! OR I cannot submit. Length: Long-term (3+ years) Shift: Onsite from Day 1 (100%) Qualifications: Strong Written/Oral communications Skills Strong familiarity with the windows platform Strong familiarity with testing web-based applications Familiarity with ITIL processes 2+ Years Quality Assurance testing experience Mandatory: Be able to review and analyze system specifications, and the changes being applied to those systems. Collaborate with engineers and developers to develop effective strategies and test plans Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results Evaluate product code according to specifications Create logs to document testing phases and defects Report bugs and errors to development teams Help troubleshoot issues discovered during testing Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development/infrastructure systems lifecycle Quality Assurance Technician Job Duties: Review and analyze system specifications. Collaborate with Engineering and Development teams to develop effective strategies and test plans Execute test cases (manual or automated), thoroughly document and analyze results Report defects to Engineering and Development teams and assist with resolution as required. Evaluate new/updated product/system code and updates according to specifications and validate quality/functionality according to provided specifications/test cases. When required, work with end users on user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that software and systems meet customer requirements.
