Role: LabVantage LIMS Specialist Location: Remote Duration: Long term Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Experience: At least 2-4 years of experience with LabVantage LIMS or similar LIMS systems. Experience in laboratory environments and understanding of laboratory workflows. Familiarity with LabVantage LIMS architecture and database schema. Experience with system integrations and data migrations. System Implementation: Assist in the implementation and deployment of the LabVantage LIMS, ensuring it meets the specific needs of our laboratory operations. Customization: Customize and configure LabVantage modules, workflows, and reports to fit the laboratory s unique requirements. System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, updates, and upgrades to the LabVantage LIMS to ensure optimal performance and reliability. User Support: Provide first-line support to laboratory users, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to LabVantage LIMS. Compliance: Ensure the LIMS meets all relevant regulatory requirements, including GxP standards. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, quality assurance, and laboratory personnel, to gather requirements and implement solutions. System Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize the LabVantage LIMS to enhance functionality, efficiency, and user experience. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detail. Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment. (1.) To be responsible for providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity. (2.) To conduct comprehensive code reviews, establish and oversee quality assurance processes, performance optimization , implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects. (3.) To ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussions or review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations). (4.) To collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and closure of escalations.
