Job Title: SAP DTS ePPDS Lead Location: : SAINT PETERSBURG FL- Remote Duration : Long Term Location: remote, with occasional travel to Florida and possibly Malaysia () JOB DESCRIPTION Role Name: SAP S4/PPDS Functional Lead This role will be the lead to implement PPDS for an existing S/4 HANA environment, from initial visioning and blueprinting through data modelling, training and go-live. Role shall be hands-on designing and building the PPDS global template. Key responsibility is to guide the business users at the pilot site to develop and enrich their existing S/4 master data (e.g. material masters, work centers and routings) to enable PPDS planning functions. This candidate will supervise an additional offshore PPDS team member to ensure approach and design alignment. 1. Hands-on PPDS SME, either with S4 embedded PPDS (preferred) or legacy APO PPDS. 2. Experienced with Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling functionality of PPDS and integration with S4 data: 1. Master Data (Material Master planning parameters, Work Centers & Capacities, Routings, Setup Matrix 2. Integrating data between S4 and ePPDS. 3. Modeling Work Center capacities and constraints, enriching Routing operations to support PPDS detailed scheduling 4. Designing and implementing planning run jobs utilizing multiple heuristics to generate optimal production schedules 5. Detailed Scheduling Planning Boards 3. Strong communication & engagement: Able to actively work with manufacturing/planning personnel to review shop floor operations and map to PPDS capabilities, including Work Centers, Capacities, Routings, Setup Matrices. 4. Rapid Prototyping: Build sample dataset in PPDS to demonstrate solution approaches in an iterative fashion (daily building, demonstrating, and refining of the data models) 5. Train and support site personnel to enrich and review their existing S4 data into working ePPDS models. 6. At least 1 PPDS prior implementation. 7. Primarily remote work via video conferencing, but occasional site visits. Work hours will straddle between Malaysia and US East Coast, so overlap of working hours required. 8. Repetitive Manufacturing experience preferred. 9. Familiarity with MES integration, including handshakes of orders from planning to execution, and maintaining progress visibility of in-process orders within PPDS.
