| F2F Interview Our client needs Senior Java Back-end Developer/Software Engineer (Hybrid Position) 18+ months Hybrid contract Locals to Chicago, IL/Peoria, IL area candidates, need to go for onsite interview. Please DO NOT send any Front-end or Full-Stack Dev resumes, Need Real time BACK-END Dev ONLY. Exceptional candidate who can relocate can be considered but NOT preferred. Skills/Experience needed: BS Degree with 8+ years of experience in designing and developing back-end software applications in Java . Strong experience in Batch or stream processing systems such as AWS SQS, AWS SNS, Kinesis. Experience designing well-defined Restful APIs Hands on experience with API tools such as Swagger, Postman and Assertible Test driven development and behavior driven development. Hands on experience with testing tools such as Selenium and Cucumber and their integration into CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Datastores such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Elasticsearch, MySQL, Oracle. 5+ years of experience developing in AWS, cloud formation templates, deploying ECS clusters, Lambda, Fargate, Amazon Elastic Search, S3. Strong understanding of IAM roles and policies. Designing, developing, deploying and maintaining software at scale. Experience building and developing backend applications with Cloud Technologies (such as AWS, Azure, GCP) Developing software applications using relational and NoSQL databases. Application architectural patterns, such as MVC, Microservices, Event-driven, etc. Deploying software using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure Devops etc. Deploying and maintaining software using public clouds such as AWS and Azure. Working within an Agile framework (ideally Scrum) Must demonstrate solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals like data structures and algorithms.
