Job Description Job Title: Business Analyst with P&C Insurance Domain Location: NYC, NY (Hybrid) Duration: Long Term Contract Min Exp: 10+ Mandatory Exp: Business Analyst, Property and Casualty(P&C), Insurance Domain Passport Number Mandatory H1B Candidates Highly preferred. Responsibilities The Product Owner role is to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of stakeholders, customers and/or end users. This includes interviewing stakeholders and gathering and compiling user requirements to understand the technology solutions they need. The Product Owner will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help the business make good technology decisions. The Product Owner will also be proactive about utilizing new technologies to optimize business processes. The Product Owner will play a pivotal role in ensuring IT understands of business requirements. Strategy and Planning Collaborate with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision Clearly identify project stakeholders and establish user classes, as well as their characteristics Conduct interviews to gather user requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods Identify and establish scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-by-project basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics. Work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirements-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes Acquisition and Deployment Assist in conducting research on software and hardware products to meet agreed upon requirements and to support purchasing efforts Participate in the QA of purchased solutions to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimized Participate in the selection of any requirements documentation software solutions that the organization may opt to use Operational Management Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards Develop and utilize standard templates to accurately and concisely write requirements specifications Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team Where applicable, help develop prototypes of interfaces and attributes based on the user requirements Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team Develop and conduct peer reviews of the business requirements to ensure that requirement specifications are correctly interpreted Assist with the interpretation of user requirements into feasible options, and communicate these back to the business stakeholders Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary Communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications of business requirements verbally or through written documentation to project managers, sponsors, and other stakeholders so that issues and solutions are understood May provide guidance and/or instruction to junior staff members Knowledge, Skills & Experience College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or management information systems 5-8 years related work experience Experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products Working technical knowledge of 2 programming languages Practical knowledge in importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts Experience in the operation and analysis of database hardware, software, and standards, as well as data retrieval methodologies and mainframe applications Practical knowledge of project management skills Good understanding of the organizations goals and objectives Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Good analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills Good written and oral communication skills Good listening and interpersonal skills Logical and efficient Keen attention to detail Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language Self-motivated and directed Strong customer service orientation Practices to Support Success Being Organized, Conscientious and Focused Becoming Self-Confident Setting Work Priorities Using Time and Resources Efficiently Delivering Consistently High-Quality Results Informing Peers and Bosses Managing Conflict Understanding and Relating to Customers Influencing Others Leveraging High Aspirations for Life-Long Skill Building and Personal Growth Deepak Talent Acquisition +1 (909) 635 2443| [email protected] ATEM Software Solutions www.theatem.com 10280 Indiana Court, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730 -- Keywords: cprogramm quality analyst information technology California New York Job Opportunity for Business Analyst with P&C Insurance Domain (Hybrid) [email protected] |
