The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of insurance business processes, data analytics, and a strong proficiency in Guidewire platforms. This role will be instrumental in driving data-driven decision-making, optimizing operations, and supporting strategic initiatives. Responsibilities: Data Analysis and Insights: o Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the P&C insurance business. o Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance and identify areas for improvement. o Utilize data visualization tools to create clear and concise reports and dashboards that communicate findings to stakeholders. Business Requirements Gathering: o Collaborate with business users to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable requirements. o Develop detailed data specifications, data dictionaries, and data models to support business initiatives. Data Quality Management: o Ensure data quality by implementing data validation rules and conducting regular data audits. o Identify and address data inconsistencies and errors to maintain data integrity. Guidewire Expertise: o Leverage deep knowledge of Guidewire platforms (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter) to extract, transform, and load data for analysis. o Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data integration and consistency across systems. Project Management: o Contribute to data-related projects, providing expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. o Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet business objectives and timelines. Qualifications: 12+ years of experience in the P&C insurance domain, with a focus on data analysis and reporting. Proven expertise in Guidewire platforms (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter). Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data sets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams. Strong understanding of data governance and data quality best practices. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data mining and machine learning techniques. Knowledge of SQL and other programming languages. Certifications in data analytics or Guidewire products.
