Role: Senior Mulesoft Developer Locations: Chicago Heights, IL (Hybrid Onsite) Duration: 12+ Months Contract Note: Candidate needs tbe in the office 3 Days every week. Key Responsibilities: 1. Integration Design and Development: Design and develop integration solutions using MuleSofts Any point Platform tconnect various on-premises and cloud-based systems. Create and maintain reusable assets, components, frameworks, and libraries tbe leveraged across different projects. Ensure that integration solutions are designed for high availability, scalability, and security. 2. API Development and Management: Develop and manage RESTful APIs and SOAP services using MuleSofts API-led connectivity approach. Implement API policies, security, throttling, caching, logging, and monitoring using API Gateway and other tools. Design and document API specifications using RAML, OpenAPI, or similar standards. 3. Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with architects, developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders tunderstand business requirements and translate them inttechnical solutions. Provide technical leadership and mentorship tjunior developers, guiding them in best practices for MuleSoft development. Participate in code reviews, ensuring that code is well-structured, maintainable, and adheres tbest practices. 4. Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting: Optimize the performance of MuleSoft integrations, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related tintegrations, including debugging, error handling, and logging. Conduct root cause analysis of integration issues and implement preventive measures. 5. Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest MuleSoft features, best practices, and industry trends. Continuously improve development processes, tools, and methodologies tenhance productivity and quality. Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies timprove integration development and deployment. 6. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration solutions, including design documents, API specifications, and deployment guides. Ensure compliance with security policies, data protection regulations, and other organizational standards. 7. Testing and Deployment: Develop unit and integration tests tensure the reliability and quality of integration solutions. Work closely with DevOps teams tautomate the deployment of MuleSoft applications using CI/CD pipelines. Support the deployment of MuleSoft solutions tdifferent environments, including production, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Proven experience as a MuleSoft Developer, with a deep understanding of MuleSofts Any point Platform. Experience in designing and developing complex integrations, APIs, and services using MuleSoft. Strong background in enterprise integration patterns, ESB, SOA, and microservices architecture. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MuleSoft Any point Platform, including Any point Studio, API Manager, and Runtime Manager. Strong knowledge of RESTful and SOAP web services, RAML, OpenAPI, and JSON. Experience with Java, XML, XPath, and data transformation using Data Weave. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and integration with cloud services. Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Maven) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities.
