IT Asset Manager Duration:-Long term Location:- Denver, CO Years of experience - 8+ NO H1B Job Description: Frontier is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strong Asset Manager to join our team in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in managing both hardware and software assets, as well as licenses. This role requires a proactive approach to overseeing the lifecycle of assets and ensuring efficient decommissioning of end-of-life assets. Key Responsibilities: Hardware and Software Asset Management: Oversee the procurement, deployment, maintenance, and lifecycle management of hardware assets such as servers, computers, and networking equipment. Manage software assets including installation, upgrades, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal functionality and availability. License Management: Track and manage software licenses to ensure compliance with licensing agreements. Handle license renewals, audits, and implement processes to optimize license usage and minimize risks. Decommissioning End-of-Life Assets: Manage the decommissioning process for outdated or obsolete hardware and software assets. Ensure secure data destruction, environmentally responsible disposal, and compliance with relevant regulations during the decommissioning process. ServiceNow Asset Management (Preferred): Experience with Service Nows Asset Management module, including configuring and managing asset records, tracking lifecycle events, and generating relevant reports. Familiarity with integrating ServiceNow Asset Management with other ITSM processes. Qualifications: Proven experience in managing hardware and software assets and licenses. Demonstrated expertise in decommissioning end-of-life assets. Preferred: Experience with ServiceNow Asset Management module. Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach.
