http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=1725159&uid= From: Upama, CBS [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] M&A Network Engineer- Houston, TX Hybrid Title: M&A Network Engineer Duration: 6 months Tasks commonly associated with this role: Site Discovery (help understand what is currently existing at a current site(s)) (may require travel for this part) Work with peers to develop design for new site(s) Work out and or assign IP subnets / vlans as needed for the new site(s) Work out a Bill of materials for new site(s) Prep and configure all equipment for deployment Help with site cutover (may require travel for this part) Post cutover support When not working M&A the candidates will be supporting the team and working support tickets from a Que The above tasks will require someone familiar with Cisco Switching and Cisco SDWan Implement Cisco FTD rule sets Performs network maintenance and system upgrades Provides Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues Ability to use Visio to create as built documentation Ability to follow process that are well documented, and make suggestions for improvement as seen fit Works within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure Coordinates with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution Monitors performance and ensures system availability and reliability Hard Requirements: Strong Cisco Switching / Routing background in an Enterprise environment Ability to leverage standard templates to develop / deploy new site configurations Ability to follow templates / documented steps and procedures Bonus if you have experience with: Cisco Viptella (SDWan) Cisco ISE Cisco FTD/FMC Cisco Wireless / Meraki LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS preferred: CCNA, CCNP, CCDA/CCDP, CCSP, CCIE is preferred. COMPETENCIES Self-starter who is able to work independently while supporting the needs of the team. Strong customer service orientation. Ability to gather information, eager to learn and apply knowledge with limited supervision. Ability to work effectively with multi-functional teams and diverse customer population. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with company leaders and M&A. Ability to work with minimal supervision and under short timelines.
