(Only H1B will consider) Role: Ruby On Rails Developer Location: Remote Duration: 12+ Months Details of the role : We are searching for a full-stack senior software engineer, with a focus on backend technology. You will be a part of a cross-functional squad that is responsible for streamlining the processes for our intake coordinators to assist with matching patients to providers and booking appointments. This role demands a solution-oriented approach; the ability to spot and resolve inefficiencies in both process and code are essential. Responsibilities : Develop and maintain testable, scalable, and efficient web applications using Ruby on Rails and React Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code Implement and integrate front-end components using React Develop within an automated testing framework Follow and refine best practices, coding standards, and documentation, and take the opportunity to share knowledge across the team Regularly collaborate with other developers, QA, product owners, and designers to complete projects Participate in/lead regular code reviews, often in a mentorship role with other engineers to maintain high development standards Engage and mentor other members on the team Lead projects end-to-end as an individual contributor Requirements : 3+ years of experience developing software in Ruby on Rails 2+ years of experience with database design (Relational, NoSQL) 2+ years of experience with React/TypeScript Experience working in an Agile environment following SDLC Deep understanding of API design and best practices Demonstrates awareness, inclusivity, sensitivity, humility, and experience in working with individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, gender identities, and other various aspects of culture Proficient in Ruby on Rails, with a strong understanding of Ruby and Rails design patterns Experience with React.js and front-end development Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 Experience with AWS Lambda and serverless architecture Experience with Git Familiarity with concepts of MVC, REST, and ORM Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset Excellent communication and teamwork skills Good to have skills: Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, including S3, EC2, development and maintaining of serverless applications using AWS Lambda, Fargate, ECS and EKS Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools Familiarity with SOLID principles Knowledge of Agile development methodologies Knowledge of principles and practices of Domain Driven Design Brief comment about our relationship with the client and the number of competitors: Strong relationship with the client.
