Highly desired 2 Years The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) requires the assistance of a Release and Environment engineer to support the operation and Maintenance of (NC FAST) Applications. The primary role is to lead maintenance and support of the programs infrastructure and application environments which include production, testing, and development. This position must demonstrate a thorough understanding of planning, coordination, and collaboration for maintenance and changes to large and complex Application infrastructure and environments. This position is responsible to develop requirements and evaluate competing technical solutions objectively and manage system (including infrastructure) events and outages effectively through resolution. This position will also provide hands-on technical guidance and coordination to the release team for the entire release management lifecycle across multiple applications as well as recommend process improvements keeping Agile and DevOps culture and practices in mind. This position will be responsible for performing tasks associated with the build and deploy processes for the NC FAST application by preparing and executing build scripts and troubleshooting build-related issues for the program utilizing the Curam software suite as well as other tools and utilities. The position will work with IT management to improve the software engineering processes and practices associated with continuous integration and Continuous deployment (CI/CD) of application changes. This position will interact with the architects, developers, deployment Team, and Database Administrators to ensure proper environment functionality and performance.
