The application will be an Intelligent Virtual Assistant (IVA) tailored for consumers in the insurance industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong creative vision, the ability to design from scratch, and the skills to collaborate with developers and bring new, innovative ideas to the table. Key Responsibilities: --Lead the design process for a mobile and web-based AI-powered Intelligent Virtual Assistant using Amazon Bedrock and React technologies. --Design and develop user experiences from scratch, creating wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity mock-ups that effectively communicate design ideas. --Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and developers to align design with user needs, business goals and technical constraints. --Apply knowledge of AI-driven interaction design to create intuitive, responsive user interfaces. --Guide the development process, ensuring that the designs align with the capabilities of React and other front-end technologies. --Perform user research, usability testing, and feedback analysis to continually refine and improve the design. --Ensure the application adheres to best practices in UI/UX, accessibility, and scalability. --Stay informed on industry trends in AI, virtual assistants, and cutting-edge design to drive innovation. Qualifications: -5+ years of UI/UX design experience, with a proven track record in building mobile and web applications from the ground up. -Strong experience designing user interfaces using React and familiarity with its capabilities and limitations. -Knowledge of Amazon Bedrock or other AI/ML platforms, with the ability to incorporate AI-driven features into the user experience. -Proficiency with design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and their integration with development workflows. -Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, design thinking and agile methodologies. -Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions clearly and persuasively. -Experience working in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: -Experience in designing AI/ML-driven interfaces and virtual assistant (IVA) interactions. -Understanding of React and how to design interfaces that work seamlessly with its components. -Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices to ensure inclusivity in design. -Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and AI-based conversational interfaces is a plus.
