Job Description: Client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Test Lead to manage and drive quality assurance initiatives across various software projects. The Test Lead will be responsible for leading a team of QA engineers, designing test strategies, and ensuring the highest levels of software quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in automation testing, API testing, performance/security testing, and CI/CD integration, with a proven track record in delivering large-scale software testing projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of QA engineers in the design, development, and execution of test plans and test cases. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define testing strategies and deliver high-quality software products. Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using JUnit, TestNG, and Mockito. Implement test automation using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and Cypress for front-end testing. Perform API testing using Postman and RestAssured. Conduct performance testing using JMeter to assess system performance under load and stress. Collaborate with the security team to perform security testing and ensure compliance with security standards. Integrate test suites into the CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD. Ensure continuous integration and continuous delivery processes are seamlessly integrated into the test workflows. Monitor and report on test coverage, execution progress, and quality metrics to stakeholders. Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in best practices and advanced testing methodologies. Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the testing ecosystem to continuously improve testing processes. Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation. Proficiency with testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, and Mockito. Experience with automation testing tools like Selenium, Cucumber, and Cypress. Expertise in API testing with Postman and RestAssured. Strong background in performance testing using JMeter. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab for integration and deployment pipelines. Hands-on experience in testing for security vulnerabilities and working closely with security teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of working in cross-functional teams. Ability to mentor and guide junior members of the team in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments. Knowledge of cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, etc.). Experience with version control systems like Git. Certifications in QA methodologies, tools, or relevant technologies.
