| Job Title: Azure Cloud Architect Raleigh NC -Remote 10 months We are seeking an Azure Cloud Architect with expertise in Microsoft Azure and NetApp to support our Infrastructure Section on multiple projects and related setups. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), the Department of Information and Technology, and Microsoft Azure Support Teams to design and implement Azure solutions that optimize operations and security for the Permit Transformation Project. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the setup and management of the customer-owned Azure environment. Configure virtual networks, VPN gateways, custom images, VDI machines, and Azure resources. Implement Intune for managing VDI machines, and manage resources in different security zones. Document and manage DevOps environments, including user access and permissions. Provide knowledge-sharing sessions and training to the internal team. Requirements: Expertise in Azure Cloud, including custom imaging, VDI/hypervisor management, Intune, MDM, VNet, resource groups, and Azure VPN gateways. Strong knowledge of Azure AD, Active Directory, and directory services. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM (preferred). Extensive experience with firewalls, access rules, and secure data handling. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
