Job role: SAP ABAP Developer with MDG Location: Florida (90% Remote) Position Type: Contract Duration: Long term Work authorisation: USC only Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement SAP MDG solutions to ensure accurate and efficient management of master data across the organization. Customize and configure SAP MDG applications to meet specific business needs, including creating custom workflows, validations, and enhancements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP MDG with other SAP modules (such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC) and third-party systems. Oversee data migration processes, ensuring data integrity and consistency during transitions and upgrades. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP MDG-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals. Ensure that SAP MDG solutions comply with organizational policies and industry standards for data governance and security. Mentor and guide junior developers and other team members in best practices for SAP MDG development and implementation. Qualifications: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in SAP MDG development, with a strong track record of successful project implementations. Proficiency in SAP MDG configuration and development, including experience with ABAP programming, BRF+, and Data Quality Management (DQM). Experience with integrating SAP MDG with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, and other enterprise systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications in SAP MDG or related areas are a plus. Preferred: Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5 for creating user interfaces. Knowledge of data governance best practices and methodologies. Previous experience in a contract or consulting role.
