The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, data transformation, and analytics, with specific expertise in using Power BI and Alteryx to drive insights and decision-making. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful business intelligence solutions that support our strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Develop, design, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decision-making processes. Utilize Alteryx to perform data blending, transformation, and advanced analytics to prepare data for Power BI reports. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions. Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other BI developers to integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity. Perform ad-hoc data analysis to support research and development projects, clinical trials, and other life science-related initiatives. Optimize existing Power BI reports and workflows to enhance performance and usability. Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective utilization of BI tools and reports. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in BI and data analytics, particularly within the Life Sciences, Biotech, and Pharma sectors. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field. Proven experience in developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards. Proficiency in using Alteryx for data preparation, blending, and advanced analytics. Strong knowledge of SQL and data modeling concepts. Experience in the Life Sciences, Biotech, or Pharma industries is required. Familiarity with clinical trial data, regulatory requirements, and industry-specific datasets is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
