| Role: Senior Network Engineer Location: Sparks, Nevada Fully onsite USC/GC Contract: 6 month contract to hire Specialize in network engineering in a global enterprise environment. This role will provide network engineering, implementation, analytical, and operational support. The engineer will ensure compliance to established system architecture, regulations and security policies, follow standards and best practices, and author and maintain support documentation. Responsibilities: Work closely with Staff Network Engineers on design and initiatives Maintain current network solution within workplace, factories, and logistics warehouses Function as a Tier-2/3 escalation point Collaborate with manufacturing engineers on requirements gathering, analyze, and propose solution to networking needs Provision, implement, test/validation, and maintain networking services per solution design Discipline on following change request process Monitor, analyze, and report metrics of network services Document network knowledgebase and operational Run-Book Must be able to work occasional weekends, after hours, and holidays Participate in on call rotation 2% travel required as necessary Qualifications: 6+ years experience mid-large global enterprise networking infrastructure Extensive experience in IP networking, L2/L3 network protocols (spanning-tree, OSPF, BGP), LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing, QOS, VLAN, ACL, application flow, NAC, and infrastructure cabling.
