As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for managing testing efforts, leading testing strategies, ensuring adherence to best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Strategy: Lead and mentor the QA team, including manual and automation testers, to ensure effective and efficient execution of quality assurance processes. Test Planning and Execution: Define, implement, and maintain comprehensive test strategies, plans, and schedules for various projects. Oversee test case development, execution, and defect management. Collaboration: Work closely with development, product management, and other stakeholders to align quality assurance processes with project timelines, feature requirements, and business goals. Automation and Continuous Improvement: Drive the implementation of test automation frameworks and ensure the continuous improvement of automated testing processes. Defect Management: Track and manage defects, work with the team to prioritize them, and ensure timely resolution of issues. Reporting and Metrics: Provide regular reports and metrics on test coverage, defect trends, and quality KPIs to project managers and senior leadership. Ensure transparency of QA progress and any potential risks. Risk Mitigation: Identify potential risks in project development and provide proactive recommendations for mitigation. Conduct risk-based testing where necessary. Quality Standards: Ensure that all testing is compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements, as well as internal company standards. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve testing processes and tools. Requirements: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a lead role. Proven track record of managing QA teams and leading testing efforts for complex projects. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of both manual and automated testing processes. Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). Hands-on experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in performance testing and security testing. Certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester or Agile Tester.
