| Please share resume on [email protected] Job Title: Salesforce Tester Location: Austin, TX, or St. Louis, MO Hybrid (3 days onsite a week) Job Type: Contract Job Summary: The Salesforce Tester will be responsible for validating and verifying Salesforce implementations, ensuring they meet business requirements and quality standards. This role involves designing test cases, executing tests, and working closely with developers and business analysts to identify and resolve issues. Key Responsibilities: Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications. Ensure all functionalities are tested thoroughly, including custom objects, workflows, and integrations. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects and issues using [defect tracking tool]. Work with the development team to reproduce, analyze, and resolve issues. Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure they are translated accurately into test cases. Automation: Implement and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Provar, or other Salesforce testing tools. Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test execution reports. Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback on test processes and recommend improvements to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, providing clear and concise updates on testing progress and issues. Must Have skills - Lightning, APEX, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, AWS, CRM Requirements: Experience: Proven experience as a Salesforce Tester or in a similar testing role. Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM and related technologies. Knowledge: Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including standard and custom objects, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce integrations. Testing Tools: Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems. Familiarity with Salesforce testing tools (e.g., Provar, Selenium) is a plus. Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to design and execute detailed test cases and scripts. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Certifications: Salesforce Administrator or Developer certification is a plus. Other relevant testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are advantageous. Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Salesforce Lightning and/or Salesforce Communities. Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
