Location - Hybrid/Reston, VA Job Description Immediate contract opportunity with our customer, a major Healthcare Insurance organization! We are seeking a Java/J2EE Production Support Developers with significant experience around APIM, Restful Web Services and Spring Boot framework to join our customers Production Support group. Responsibilities include: - Working with architects and technical leads on software design, prototyping, and development - Developing software per architecture design and industry best practices - Must have Java development experience with ability to develop unit / integration test cases using Junit /TestNg. - Unit & integration testing of developed code - Participating in code reviews - Documenting system changes - Mentoring more junior resources and enforcing software development best practices - Operational support, maintenance programming and trouble ticket resolution tasks Although this position is primarily remote, the selected candidates must be open to going onsite 1-2x per month in Reston VA office. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Discipline 1 8 years Java/J2EE Discipline 2 3 years APIM Restful Web Services (Datapower = BIG PLUS) Discipline 3 Angular v10+ = Big plus Discipline 4 Production support environment exp (no new development in this role) Discipline 5 Must have a monitoring exp. Any tool acceptable Required Skills - BS in computer science or equivalent degree is required. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience. -8 years of Java/J2EE experience. Specifically seeking Production support experience/trouble ticket resolution experience. - Must have experience with APIM Restful Web Services. (DataPower = BIG PLUS) -Must have any monitoring tool experience (BigPanda or DataDog OR Nagios) - Angular v10+ = Big plus - Minimum of 5 years of highly-available using frameworks (Spring and Spring integration) - Experience creating and maintaining APIs (JSON) - Experience integrating with APIs (JSON) [CRITICAL] - Must have experience with web services and understanding of RESTful / SOA Services. - The ability to develop unit / integration test cases using Junit - Must have extensive experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies. - Excellent verbal and written communications skills - Must be able to perform assigned tasks with minimum supervision Preferred, not required: -Good to have Experience working with GIT/BitBucket. -Any Cloud / DevOps experience -Healthcare experience Keywords: procedural language Virginia Java J2EE Production Support Developer--Reston, VA--need local ID--USC,GC [email protected] |
