Required Skills: API Development, Python, AWS Data Solutions, Workday Implementation(s) the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system Workday will be deployed across the UWMadison campus and UW system, effectively replacing HR and Financial PeopleSoft systems. Workday modernizes and streamlines enterprise human resource, finance, and research administration activities by providing process standardization and increased flexibility to its users. The UWMadison ERP Ancillary Systems Program (ASP) is partnering with the Administrative Transformation Program (ATP) and other enterprise-level programs, including UWMadison schools, colleges, institutes, and divisions. ATP is responsible for migrating systems from PeopleSoft to Workday and training end-users on the Workday functionality. At the same time, the ASP team ensures that more than 800 systems currently interacting with financial or HR data from PeopleSoft continue to work uninterrupted once Workday goes live, supporting system owners through this change. The State of Wisconsin is looking for a contractor to assist with Workday/AWS API development at the University of Wisconsin-Madison to support external applications in the Workday environment.
