| From: ayush, Scalable Systems [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer (SRE)Location: Santa Clara, CAJob Description: Overview: We are seeking a talented AWS Cloud Engineer (SRE) to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and scalability of our cloud infrastructure. As an SRE, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust AWS-based systems and applications, while also providing expert support for Microsoft server workloads. Responsibilities: AWS Application and CI/CD Pipelines: Promote applications to controlled environments (test, staging, production) in AWS accounts. Optimize deployment processes, security, and monitoring for AWS-specific applications. Leverage CI/CD pipelines using GIT (Bitbucket), Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild, and AWS CodeDeploy. Manage AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, SSM, vulnerability management, VPC networking, WAF, ECS/Fargate, and IAM. Develop and maintain AWS infrastructure code using Terraform and CloudFormation. Microsoft Server Workloads and Applications: Provide support for SaaS products through change requests, incident response, and infrastructure code reviews. Operate Microsoft server workloads on AWS. Support Microsoft server applications, including patching, upgrades, configuration, and monitoring. Migrate SQL Server and applications from the corporate data center to AWS. SRE Engineering: Diagnose root causes and identify sources of instability in distributed systems. Write code and possess a deep understanding of web operations best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent. Strong proficiency in Linux command line. Experience with continuous deployment pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab (preferred). In-depth knowledge of AWS services and technologies. Familiarity with Microsoft server administration and support. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
