The Primary responsibility will be to lead the development of enterprise architecture artifacts in accordance with the Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework. This involves conducting comprehensive assessments of our current IT infrastructure and systems to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. Drawing upon your expertise and industry best practices, you will define the future state architecture that aligns with the strategic objectives of our organization. In collaboration with key stakeholders across various departments, you will translate business requirements into actionable architectural designs, including infrastructure, data, application, and security architectures. These designs will serve as the blueprint for our IT systems and applications, guiding their development and evolution over time. You will also establish architecture standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and interoperability across the organization. As a trusted advisor, you will provide guidance and expertise on architecture-related matters, helping to inform decision-making and drive innovation. By fostering collaboration and communication among IT teams, you will ensure that our architecture aligns with organizational goals and objectives, delivering tangible value to our stakeholders. Duties and Responsibilities: Lead the development of enterprise architecture artifacts in alignment with the Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework. Conduct current state assessments and define future state architectures based on stakeholder requirements. Develop architecture blueprints, standards, and guidelines for IT systems and applications. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure alignment of architecture with organizational goals and objectives. Provide guidance and expertise on architecture-related issues and initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of experience in enterprise architecture development. NEA Enterprise Architect Proficiency in using enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF or Zachman Framework, Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience working in government or public sector organizations preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience working in government or public sector organizations, where familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards is advantageous.
