| Job role : Application Architect Location : California (Remote) Year of experience : 10-15 years Job description : We are looking for a talented Application Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development and architecture, with deep expertise in Java, ReactJS, AWS, microservices, micro frontend architecture, Kubernetes, and security best practices, including OWASP standards. Key Responsibilities: Architectural Design: Lead the architectural design of applications using Java, ReactJS, and AWS, focusing on scalability, performance, and security. Microservices and Micro Frontend Implementation: Design and implement a microservices-based architecture and micro frontend solutions that allow for independent deployment and development of backend and frontend components. Cloud Architecture: Architect and manage cloud-native applications using AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS to build scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient solutions. Containerization and Orchestration: Use Kubernetes for container orchestration to manage, deploy, and scale containerized applications effectively in a cloud environment. Security: Apply best practices for secure coding and application security, including familiarity with OWASP standards. Ensure the architecture is designed to mitigate common security vulnerabilities. Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the architecture aligns with business goals and requirements. Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, guiding them in adopting best practices for architecture, coding standards, and security. Qualifications: Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in Java and ReactJS, with a solid understanding of full-stack development. AWS Knowledge: Extensive experience with AWS services and cloud-based architectures. Microservices and Micro Frontend: Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices and micro frontend architectures. Kubernetes: Strong experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration, deployment, and management. Security Awareness: Understanding of security best practices, including OWASP standards and secure coding practices. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills: Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code. Understanding of agile methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
