| AutomationEngineer No H1B Indianapolis, IN- Onsite Must have LinkedIn seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical work space. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years hands-on experience in the life sciences industry, integrating and optimizing Automation systems. Engineering and automation resource needed local to Indianapolis to support a project scheduled for Q3 and Q4 2024. The application requires an engineer to provide PLC programming (Allen Bradley), Keyence Laser Programming, and FT View SE programming. Perform the retrofit of the hardware and the programming of the Cognex camera and Insight software. Engineer will also be providing most of the design. Most of the work will take place on site in Indianapolis, Indiana. Automation Scope: Add new recipe field for expiry date for when operator starts a new batch. New field must also be added to the database table(s) and entered data must be populated into the database. Utilize the auxiliary artwork function in the existing PLC to mark the UDI. Feed the required UDI data into the Keyence laser software and mark the housing. PLC updates to present UDI to the inspection camera. EDG will supply and program the new camera that will replace the camera checking housing color. the existing sequence code just uses the linear actuator to bring the device into the LASER marking area and then return it for the pick and place robot. The new sequence will need to add the following after the linear actuator pushes the device out of the laser marking area: Rotate 90 to present the UDI to the camera. Pause for camera image and processing If good device, Pick and place robot take pen to discharge conveyor. If bad device, pick and place robot take pen to the reject bin. Communication between PLC, Camera, and SQL Database express on PC. PLC to Camera interface: Ethernet communication, inspection trigger, inspection results. PLC to SQL Database: Recipe data from SQL to PLC, PLC to SQL inspection results, PLC to SQL error codes Update SQL Database Express to include new columns in the lot data Update documentation with automation design information, Software Hardware Design Specification (SHDS), Hardware and Software Configuration Specification, and Operations Manual. -- Keywords: information technology Onsite Automation Engineer [email protected] |
