| Title : JAVA developer Location : NYC, NY, Hybrid , 2 days onsite Duration : 6+ Month Knowledge, Experience and Skills B.S. in Computer Science or related required M.S. in Computer Science or related a plus 10+ years of Software Development experience Prior experience in the insurance industry required 7+ years experience working with enterprise applications or architectural leadership role in building web based Java EE and/or Spring services/applications Solid working knowledge of current technologies, including SOA or REST, web services, J2EE technologies, Spring, Hibernate Expertise with industry standard development tools (e.g. Eclipse, Subversion, etc.) Hands on experience working in integrated development environments Extensive experience with SQL, some DBA experience a plus Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws Familiarity with agile software development methodologies Experience working with vendor applications and resources Flexible and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies Ability to exercise independent judgement and take action on it Highly self-motivated and directed Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Regards _______________________________ Suryangi Resource Consultings Services Inc.
