Title: Sr Talend ETL Developer

Responsibilities
1.Use the Talend ETL toolset to create new ETL jobs.
2.Design and implement ETL for extracting and transforming data from diverse sources, such as: Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server databases.
3.Design and develop database tables necessary along with the necessary constraints as per the requirement.
4.Collaborate with team members to understand source system structures and data retrieval methods/techniques, and tools within the organization.
5.Support the development of data transformation logic using ETL tools or scripting languages like SQL, Bash, Python, etc.
6.Clean, validate, and transform data to conform to target schema and quality standards.
7.Work with the team to execute data quality improvement plans.
8.Participate in troubleshooting activities to maintain data integrity and process efficiency.
Qualifications
1.Five years experience using Talend Data Fabric in a professional environment.
2.Demonstrable knowledge with the Talend Data Fabric tool, ESB, and MDM development tasks and processes, particularly creating ETL from Technical specifications and converting ETL from other third party ETL tools and frameworks.
3.Five years experience working for a health data organization performing ETL Development activities.
4.Three years experience with database, data warehouse, ETL, business intelligence, or software development.
5.Experience in developing projects using Talend with Data Integration and Cloud Integration working with large datasets.
6.Experience with cloud technologies (Azure/AWS) and Microsoft DevOps Git Repos.
7.Experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server database technologies.
8.Able to create/modify tables, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and other DB objects.
9.Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment.
10.Working knowledge and understanding of HIPAA policies and working with PII and PHI sensitive data.
11.Effective at managing competing priorities and can work independently with little or no supervision.
12.Excellent communication skills: verbal and written, along with excellent documentation skills.
13.Comfortable working under tight deadlines while maintaining well organized, detailed, and process-oriented work habits.
