| Role Name: Engineer Role Description: Provides subject matter expertise in testing bots using Kore.ai across various domains (voice, web agent assist). Specializes in testing bots for chat, voice, and agent assist. Expertise in troubleshooting Kore.ai errors and verifying business requirements. Leads technical testing sessions with cross-functional teams, including developers, UX designers, data analysts, and product owners. Willing to provide guidance and support to testers, data scientists, and UX designers as they learn new workflows. Offers subject matter expertise for unit and integration testing of features developed on the Kore.ai platform. Assists in creating runbooks and documenting production support guidelines based on experience at other firms. Acts as a technical ambassador for Kore.ai, helping identify defects or feature requests. Participates in design, code, and test inspections throughout the lifecycle to identify issues. Explains technical considerations at meetings with internal departments. Writes and elevates code using Vanguards SDLC tools and processes. Consults on implementing knowledge and call summarization features, including Gen AI. Provides support during production incidents involving the Kore platform. Offers expertise in monitoring and telemetry tools, and provides guidance in defining SLO/SLA for each bot. Works in high-traffic, real-time enterprise applications. Participates in Agile methodologies, design patterns, and software revision control systems. Gains experience in scaling applications and database infrastructure. Leads the team from both a technical and managerial perspective. Inspires and motivates teammates, becoming a go-to person for cross-functional issues. Implements proofs of concept, prototypes, and production-grade software. Essential Skills: Strong expertise in either Python or Node.js. Skillset should include Cyara testing tool, Selenium, and unit testing using Python. Familiarity with automation testing tools and technologies, including performance, load, smoke, and integration testing. Knowledge of AI, NLP, ML, and chatbots is an added advantage. Proficiency in Linux/Unix flavors. Experience in web services using REST and SOAP. Knowledge of different authentication and authorization techniques. Strong knowledge of code documentation and handover. Experience building scalable, high-availability, mission-critical platforms. Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Desirable Skills: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with automation testing tools like Selenium, Cyara, Python, etc. Familiarity with KORE.ai, SmartAssist, IVR Technologies, Java, JavaScript, and Python is preferred. Experience with Conversational AI platforms and understanding of Gen AI concepts with conversational AI products. Strong experience in understanding business requirements and creating chatbots in Kore.ai XO Platform and Search Assist. Experience with Node.js for chatbot backend technology. Good experience in design and solution architecture for creating chatbots and voicebots using Kore.ai.
