Job Title : Mainframe Storage Admin Location : Denver, CO / Atlanta, GA (Hybrid) Duration : Long-Term Contract Job Description: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Digital Information Technology related field. Should be Extremely familiar with IBM z/OS operating system Strong Knowledge on Parallel Sysplex concepts strong experience mainframe LPAR builds Implement DFSMS Develop and maintain ACS routines You must Support DFSMSdss data movement, dump and restores of DASD volume Implement automatic backup and migration (DFSMShsm) Expertise in managing catalogs Implement and support advanced copy services like PPRC, XRC, Flashcopy Installing and configuring additional physical storage & DR support. Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail.
