| Job Title: Senior Data Analyst with experience in Tableau ,SQL, Location: Raleigh, NC ( Day 1 On-Site- This is an ON-SITE position in Raleigh, NC and any candidate must be able to attend an IN-PERSON INTERVIEW ) Duration: 6+ Months Contract MOI: Video Interview via MS Teams then F2F Interview RATE: 45 per hour on C2C Visa: No H1B/TN (Need LinkedIn URL of the Candidate with profile picture) Job Description: Currently, the enterprise is a complex, multi-platform data environment (including some legacy Mainframe) consisting of Amazon AWS/Snowflake and Microsoft Azure, along with Tableau and Power BI. Technologies in use include Oracle, DB2, MySQL, and SQL Server, Tableau and Power BI, as well as desktop-based applications such as MS Access and MS Excel. DPI aims to establish an enterprise data model with a primary goal of standardizing shared data entities and attributes and a secondary goal of standardizing database management systems and tools. School Business and HR/other data will be hosted in Snowflake running in AWS, generally using SQL Server. The Senior Snowflake Data Analyst/Data Visualization Analyst will provide analysis and leadership on data analysis projects across the DPI enterprise focusing on School Business Data. You will provide insight to other data analysts, data architects, and application developers related to creating an enterprise data model that meets DPI's business and technical requirements. You will also provide subject matter expertise. Skills: Experience with SQL databases and related ETL/validations in Snowflake and data visualization using Tableau (and also Power BI). Bachelors Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) with a focus on data analysis, data structure, data visualization. Proven track record of solving real world problems using data. Excellent critical thinking skills is a must have for this role. Understanding of different database platforms: Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, and MS Access. Understanding of Data Warehousing and data mining. Understanding of modeling strategies (dimensional, snowflake, relational, unstructured). Experience designing and delivering data mapping specifications for large reporting platforms. Writing and maintaining business rules using SQL logic Demonstrated experience in writing ad-hoc SQL statements Strong interest in playing a technical data steward role across our business and technology partners to understand and detail our data, appropriate Proven experience with ERD/Data Modelling tools (Toad or others). Experience in executing projects in an Agile / Hybrid environment Demonstrated technical ability in learning new technologies and adapting to frequent changes in the technical environment Experience with data reporting tools especially Tableau (and preferrable also Power BI, Viya, others). Skills Needed: (all required) Experience with SQL databases and related ETL/validations in Snowflake and data visualization using Tableau (and also Power BI).
