Immediate role with interview slots available Key Responsibilities: Optimize queries and data structures within Snowflake to improve performance and reduce costs. Integrate Snowflake with other data tools and platforms, such as ETL tools (e.g., Apache NiFi, Informatica), BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Implement and maintain data security best practices in Snowflake, including role-based access control, data masking, and encryption. Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance within the Snowflake environment, adhering to organizational standards and best practices. Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions. Create and maintain detailed documentation of Snowflake solutions, including data models, ETL processes, and performance tuning strategies. Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor the Snowflake environment, identifying and addressing any performance or operational issues as they arise. Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience: 3-5 years of experience in data warehousing, ETL development, and data integration. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Snowflake, including features like Virtual Warehouses, Snowpipe, Time Travel, and Secure Data Sharing. Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize them for performance. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, particularly in relation to data storage and processing. Familiarity with ETL tools and frameworks, such as Apache NiFi, Informatica, Talend, or AWS Glue. Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Shell scripting for automation and data processing tasks. Strong understanding of data modeling principles, including dimensional modeling and normalization. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues. Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Snowflake certifications or relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect). Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka. Data Governance: Knowledge of data governance practices and tools, including data cataloging and lineage. BI Tools: Experience with business intelligence tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
