Role: Lead ETL Developer with Data Integration Location: San Antonio, TX (Only Locals) Duration: Contract Experience: Minimum 10+ years Note: Only H1 Visa who can share PP (Dont share GC, GC EAD, H4, OPT/CPT) Role Description: Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and implementation of ETL processes and data integration workflows. Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and design ETL solutions. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across multiple systems. Optimize ETL processes for scalability and performance. Manage, mentor, and provide guidance to junior ETL developers. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring timely delivery of solutions. Develop and maintain documentation of ETL processes, data flows, and integrations. Perform code reviews and ensure best practices are followed within the team. Monitor ETL jobs and processes, ensuring data is loaded within agreed SLAs. Work closely with database administrators to ensure optimal performance of data systems. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, suggesting improvements to existing processes. Qualifications and Skills Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 5+ years of experience in ETL development and data integration. Proficiency in ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or similar. Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for data integration and ETL processes. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, architecture, and design. Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Python, Shell, or Perl. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong understanding of data governance and data quality best practices. Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
