Key Responsibilities: Develop and Enhance Platform: Work on the enhancement and scaling of our video streaming and class scheduling platform, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability. NodeJS Development: Lead backend development using NodeJS, writing efficient, clean, and maintainable code. NoSQL Database Management: Design, implement, and optimize NoSQL database structures to support platform features. Integration of Streaming Platforms: Integrate and manage streaming services, including Zoom and other similar platforms, to deliver seamless user experiences. Independent Project Management: Take ownership of major projects, from ideation to deployment, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to deliver a cohesive and high-quality product. Learn and Expand Your Tech Stack: Be open to training in new technologies and contribute to the adoption of innovative solutions that improve our platform. Requirements: Expertise in NodeJS: Proven experience in building and maintaining complex applications using NodeJS. NoSQL Proficiency: Strong understanding and experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, Couchbase). Quick Onboarding: Ability to quickly understand and contribute to an existing codebase, with minimal supervision. Independent and Self-motivated: Ability to work independently on large projects, taking full ownership and responsibility for outcomes. Interest in Streaming Platforms: Enthusiasm for integrating streaming platforms such as Zoom into existing systems. Problem-solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on delivering practical solutions. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Video Streaming: Familiarity with video streaming technologies and protocols. Cloud Services: Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, particularly in relation to deploying and scaling NodeJS applications. Microservices Architecture: Understanding of and experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
