Better to have the knowledge of JDE Worldsoft version with SQL. JOB DESCRIPTION Manufacturing Business Analyst (JDEdwards) GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: This position exists to plan, direct and coordinate activities of technology projects to ensure that project goals are accomplished. Provides software systems support for users of JD Edwards software. Provides training for new users, and tunes and adapts software to fit new business requirements. This person would take part in JDEdwards implementation teams. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Learns, understands and becomes expert in software package modules Tunes and adapts software package to fit business requirements Assists business management with procedural changes required to achieve benefits Trains users on software Support software usage through quality control, data analysis Provides software support and troubleshooting for users Works with users and technical team to develop program changes and new programs to satisfy business requirements Provides quality assurance for technical development projects Develops project plans specifying task, staffing, scheduling and deliverables, and performs work and management of plan to meet requirements Develops and maintains software procedures documentation. Shop Floor Management, PDM, Planning modules MRP, DRP, Forecast, Manufacturing Accounting Better to have the knowledge of JDE Worldsoft version with SQL. STRATEGIC FOCUS: Works with many other internal and external departments to maintain relationships that allow constant communication/feedback to foster continuous improvement. Understands the key performance indicators of the business with specific focus on manufacturing. INTERNAL BOUNDARIES: This position is responsible for working within the IT function at ESI. The position interacts with various departments at ESI EXTERNAL BOUNDARIES: This position does have many direct interactions with outside external organizations and functions. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory role . EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor&# degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
