Generate a business Strong talent that can work in uncertainty situations Mix and match skill sets Job Description As the Walmart Global Tech (WGT) Generative AI team, we are building completely new capabilities for our members and associates. This team member is part of the AI Labs organization and will build new Gen AI based experiences both in-house and in-collaboration with strategic partners. You will get to work on industry leading solutions and be at the forefront of this emerging platform. What you'll do: * Design, build, test and deploy cutting edge solutions at scale, impacting millions of customers worldwide. * Provide technical leadership, guidance and mentorship to a small group of highly skilled and motivated engineers. * Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community. * Engage with Product Management and Business to drive the agenda, set your priorities and deliver awesome products. * Writing and developing code; conducting unit testing; collaborating with the project team and cross-functional teams; troubleshooting open issues and bug-fixes; enhancing design to prevent re-occurrences of defects; ensuring on- time delivery and hand-offs; * Seek ways to improve software and its effectiveness. What you'll bring: 8+ years of experience in design and development of consumer facing software. Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design patterns.
