Role: Node Js Developer Location: Omaha, NE (Only Locals or Nearby) Duration: Contract Experience: Minimum 10+ years Note: Only H1 Visa who can share PP (Dont share GC, GC EAD, H4, OPT/CPT) Role Description: Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Node.js applications. Write clean, well-documented, and scalable code. Develop and maintain server-side logic and APIs using Node.js. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Design and implement data storage solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL). Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance. Implement security and data protection measures. Perform unit and integration tests to ensure software quality. Participate in code reviews and agile development processes (Scrum, Kanban). Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in backend development and Node.js. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience working with Node.js and related frameworks (Express.js, Nest.js). Strong proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with TypeScript. Experience with building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL). Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization tools is a plus. Understanding of security and performance optimization in backend development. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
