| Hi Contract Role: Senior CICS System Programmer Location: Hartford, CT (Onsite) Must have: CICS System programming skills ( Install CICS, Create CICS Region, Customize CICS Tables, Tune CICS Regions, Code Assembler, etc) and not application programming or support Key Responsibilities: CICS System Installation: Install and configure CICS (Customer Information Control System) environments to meet organizational requirements. Region Creation and Management: Create and manage CICS regions, ensuring proper setup and performance. Customization: Customize CICS tables and settings to align with specific business needs and system requirements. Tuning and Optimization: Tune and optimize CICS regions for performance, reliability, and efficiency. Assembler Coding: Write and maintain assembler code for CICS system programming tasks. System Programming Focus: Engage in system programming activities, focusing on the underlying infrastructure rather than application programming or support.Requirements: . Technical Skills: Proficient in installing and configuring CICS environments. Experience in creating and managing CICS regions. Ability to customize CICS tables and settings. Expertise in tuning and optimizing CICS regions. Skilled in coding with Assembler for CICS. System Programming Focus: Strong background in system programming with a focus on CICS rather than application development or support.
