Job Title: Oracle BI Technical Lead Onsite-first 30 days are M-F onsite and thereafter they will allow for 4 days onsite / 1 day remote. Location: Onsite St. Louis, MO (Preference for local candidates) Duration: 6+ Months Contract Visa Requirements: USC, GC, GC EAD Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Oracle BI Technical Lead to join our team in St. Louis, MO. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Oracle Fusion Cloud, with a deep understanding of ERP and HCM subject areas. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines, reports, and dashboards to meet business stakeholder requirements. This role also requires experience in data replication, configuration, and interface development across various Oracle platforms. Key Responsibilities: Oracle Analytics & Reporting : Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data pipelines using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC). Data Pipeline Development : Build and configure data pipelines on OAC using Oracle OTB data replication. Extract and transform Fusion SaaS data using DBCS. Technical Lead : Lead the technical architecture and development of Oracle BI solutions, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. Complex Problem Solving : Lead projects that involve complex applications, providing design and technical solutions independently. Application Management : Oversee the support, maintenance, operation, and upgrades of Oracle BI applications. Data Integration : Leverage Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for ETL tasks and data movement. Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is a plus. Collaboration : Work closely with business leaders, end-users, and IT teams to translate business requirements into technical designs. Oracle Fusion Cloud : Develop efficient data pipelines from Oracle Cloud ERP to OAC using OTBI connections and BICC for data extraction. Project Delivery : Lead and implement at least three end-to-end projects involving OAC, FAW, and BICC, including migrations and new implementations. Standards & Best Practices : Define application development standards and ensure adherence to best practices, including GitHub usage for OAC repositories. Report Scheduling : Configure and schedule reports for distribution via SMTP/mail servers. Must Have Experience /Technical Skills: Experience : 5+ years of consulting or professional experience in Oracle BI solutions, with a strong focus on OAC, FAW, BICC, and Oracle Fusion Cloud. Proven experience in leading and delivering complex projects from design to implementation. Oracle Cloud Expertise : Proficiency in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW). Strong experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud modules (AP, GL, FA, CM, Procurement, PPM). Experience with App Composer and Oracle SaaS data replication via DBCS. Data Integration : Hands-on experience with ODI for data integration and ETL tasks. Familiarity with BICC/UCM/Object storage for data replication. Database & SQL : Expert-level knowledge in writing complex SQL queries and SQL tuning. Strong understanding of Oracle databases and database concepts. Reporting : Proficiency in OBIEE repository (RPD) for all layers, along with advanced report scheduling capabilities. Additional Tools : Knowledge of P6, GIS databases, and EPBCS for source connections and integrations within OAC. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Certifications : Oracle certifications . Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
