Job Title: Splunk Enterprise Security Engineer Location: Allen, TX (Work from Office) Duration: Long Term Contract Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Splunk Enterprise Security Engineer to join our cybersecurity team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) to enhance our organizations security posture. This role requires hands-on experience with Splunk ES, including setting up dashboards, alerts, and reports, and integrating various data sources to detect, respond to, and mitigate security threats effectively. Role Description: Minimum 3+ years of experience working with Splunk Enterprise Security, including implementation, configuration, and management. Proficiency in Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL) and data onboarding techniques. Experience with security event analysis, correlation search development, and use case creation. Familiarity with network protocols, security frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK), and common security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex security events and data patterns. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
